Choosing the Right Mounting Style
- Overhead Braced: This is the most popular and economical mounting style. It features floor-anchored pilasters with a headrail running across the top for added stability. It is suitable for almost any floor construction.
- Floor Anchored: These systems are anchored only to the floor, providing a clean, open look at the top. This style is ideal for restrooms with low ceilings but requires a concrete floor at least two inches thick for secure anchoring.
- Ceiling Hung: By anchoring the partitions to the ceiling, the floor is left completely unobstructed. This is the preferred choice for facilities that prioritize hygiene, as it allows for easy mopping and power-washing of the floors.
- Floor to Ceiling: For maximum stability and resistance to vandalism, floor-to-ceiling mounting is the strongest option. These systems are anchored at both the floor and the ceiling, making them incredibly rigid.
